RYU Biho (* 1970, Gunsan) lives and works in Seoul and Berlin. In his works, he employs photography, video and installation to raise aesthetic questions about art and society. He has been conducting artistic research for a long time, including through the interdisciplinary projects Artistic Acts through Hacking (2001) and Parasite-Tactical Media Networks (2004-2006). In 2013 he received the “Sungkok Artist of Tomorrow” award from the Sungkok Art Museum, Seoul. He recently participated in The International Studio Programme of Künstlerhaus Bethanien(Berlin), BilbaoArte AiR(Bilbao) and Glenfiddich AiR(Dufftown, Scotland)
