Jinran Ha verwendet in ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit alltägliche Gebrauchsgegenstände, die sich durch ihre Gleichförmigkeit und industrielle Herstellung auszeichnen. In ihren Inszenierungen setzt Ha durch die Akkumulation solcher Produkte ein formales Spiel in Gang, bei dem die Objekte ihre konventionelle Funktion und Uniformität verlieren und ein Eigenleben zu entwickeln scheinen. Veränderungsprozesse der Form und Anordnung knüpfen Assoziationen zu politischen und sozialen Topoi wie Solidarität, Konformität und Individualität, Kollektiv und Individuum. Has Arbeiten werfen damit Fragen nach dem Verhältnis von Individuum und Gesellschaft, nach der Definition dieser Einheiten und nach der möglichen Veränderung dieses Beziehungssystems auf.

“What matters is what’s ever changed” ist die vierte Ausstellung der Reihe UnMyth.
UnMyth stellt sich den Mythen entgegen, die sowohl „künstlerische Authentizität“ als auch „technologisches/digitales Fachwissen“ mit (weißer/cis/hetero) Männlichkeit und männlicher Autorschaft verknüpfen - für einen inklusiveren Begriff davon, wer welche Kunst auf relevante Weise produziert, und ein facettenreiches Denken über Technologie und nachhaltig diverse wissenschaftliche Perspektiven. UnMyth findet von Mai bis August 2021 statt und wird von Workshops und Vorträgen begleitet.

In her artistic work, Jinran Ha uses everyday objects characterized by their uniformity and industrial production. In her stagings, Ha initiates a formal game through the accumulation of such products, wherein the objects lose their conventional function and uniformity and seem to develop a life of their own. Processes of change in form and arrangement create associations with political and social topoi such as solidarity, conformity and individuality, collective and individual. Has's works thus raise questions about the relationship between the individual and society, the definition of these units, and the potential change in this relationship system.

UnMyth opposes the myths that link both “artistic authenticity” and “technological / digital expertise” with (white / cis / hetero) masculinity and male authorship - for a more inclusive notion of who produces which art in a relevant way, and multi-faceted thinking about technology and sustainably diverse scientific perspectives. UnMyth will take place from May to August 2021 and will be accompanied by workshops and lectures.
